The umbrella term ‘renewable energy’ includes: biomass energy, geothermal, hydroelectric power; and ocean (tidal and wave), solar, and wind energy. Our financing accounts for the upfront capital costs related to renewable energy installations, equipment purchases, and even growth finance for businesses completing renewable energy projects/contracts. We offer three funding solutions:
- Specialised Asset Finance – for up to 5 year finance terms
- Contract Finance – for either a once-off need or for regular use in your business
- Bridging Finance – for 1 to 3 month bridging needs

Our Renewable Energy Finance is for businesses specialising in installations – we provide funding for these businesses to grow and to complete large contracts & projects.
For businesses with renewable energy needs …
We also finance businesses looking to add renewable energy to their premises. We do not finance individuals seeking to incorporate renewable energy into their private residence or home.
Our minimum finance criteria
- minimum finance amount from R1M up to R25M
- you are a small to mid-sized business [SME] in operation for 3 or more years
- with a minimum annual turnover of R10M, or
- alternatively with an annual turnover between R5M – R10M, provided there is some current growth context [for example a contract, project or acquisition]
