Take a look at this practical example of the benefits of renting IT equipment:
Imagine your company is growing rapidly and you currently have 20 computers (all 6 or more years old). They are overloaded, slow and desperately need to be upgraded. In order to purchase new computers, you need R 120 000 (20 computers @ R 6 000 each).That’s R 120 000; out of your cash flow; in one go!
When renting the equipment, the cash outlay is spread over the term of the agreement. The average rental contract is 36 months – about R 4 000 per month over the 36 months; instead of R 120 000 in cold hard cash all at once!
