overview and a word from the ceo
Spartan has been in the industry for nearly 3 decades. In all these years, we have managed to build an experienced staff with both IT and Finance backgrounds. We have been in this niche for long enough to make sure that our clients are in good hands. Our highly specialized staff is constantly making sure that our clients receive the best available solution to their needs, marrying the financial savvy with the technical know-how.
Spartan knows that success is dependent of ensuring that the company attracts and retains “A” players – people who excel and do not ascribe to meritocracy. Spartan therefore invests time, effort and resources in finding this kind of people. This includes a rigorous and holistic selection process that allows Spartan to avoid recruiting people to fill a vacancy, but rather sources talent that will add value to the business whilst growing and achieving personal development objectives and a strong sense of personal fulfilment.
As a growing entrepreneurial business with a grand vision, Spartan’s culture is characterized by high energy, fast paced initiatives and ongoing dynamic change as the company progresses toward the realisation of its vision. Employees are continuously encouraged to use initiative and to develop themselves. Commitment to development is evidenced by Spartan’s substantially higher than normal training budget spent in relation to the required Skills Development Levy of 1% of the payroll.
The Company supports staff championed initiatives, such as an Action Cricket team, and social get-togethers which encourage team building and develop interpersonal relationships between employees and colleagues. We put a lot of accent on networking.
Spartan’s corporate culture, customer relationships and work ethic are strongly based on the organisation’s Core Values of honesty, passion; determination; personal growth, respect and innovation. It is these lived values that bind us as a cohesive unit and ensure that together we are all striving to achieve the vision.
