- We have been rated by auditing firm, PKF independently as a Level-2 Contributor to Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, in terms of the DTI’s Codes of Good Practice.
- Across the 7 pillars of the Codes, we have achieved a total score of 86.07%.
- Spartan is 100% black-owned and 30% female owned.
- We have the outstanding BEE Procurement Recognition level of 156.25%, meaning that for every Rand our customers spend, they are credited with R1.5625 of spending on affirmative procurement.
- Spartan’s CEO, Kumaran Padayachee, is a member of the board of the National Business Initiative, a body established in 1995 in an effort to engage the private sector on issues of sustainability.
